A big part of our mission at Peanuts is to create community and nourish families.  To support this goal, we offer a variety of weekly low cost classes for children and monthly parenting classes for adults.  We also provide fun seasonal events.  See what’s going on at Peanuts and register below!

Monthly Seasonal Workshops & Events
Each month, Peanuts offers a variety of fun, creative and educational workshops in our Peanut Gallery Room.  These events are designed specifically for kids and parents and are delivered by trusted community experts and local artisans.


Breastfeeding Troubleshooting & Q&A with Sandra Jansen

Sandra Jansen is a Registered Nurse and an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She has spent virtually all of her career in Maternal Child Nursing. She will offer a 1-2 hr workshop as well as answer questions afterwards. We’re happy to have her offer her workshop at Peanut’s as well as more in the future.

Join Erin Clark from Santa Barbara Festival Ballet at Peanuts as she weaves storytelling, imagination and movement together. Boys and girls are introduced to ballet manners, music and movement using cherished nursery rhymes and original ballet songs.

Class is limited to 12 children.

Peanuts offers weekly classes for children in our Peanut Gallery Room.


Putnee Music Classes
Ages 0-4 years

New Schedule, Staring Jan 30th
Wednesdays, 10:30-11:00am
Fridays, 10:30-11:00am

$9/class, $40 for 5 classes, or $70 for 10 classes. Drop-ins welcome.
Class packets do not have to be consecutively and do not expire.

Beloved community musician, Putnam Lee aka Putnee, offers a weekly baby music class at Peanuts. In this interactive music workshop children dance, sing, and enact songs, some oldies but goodies and others Putnee originals. Putnam has been sharing the joy of music with Santa Barbara children since 1975.
